J.K. Rowling Sued for Plagiarism

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling has been sued for plagiarism of certain parts of Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire.

Rowling called the accusations against her "unfounded" and "absurd", and called for the cases dismissal.

The allegations from the estate of Adrian Jacobs, author of the book "The Adventures of Willy the Wizard -- No 1 Livid Land" from which Rowling was to have copied, claim a substantial amount of the fourth Harry Potter book was plagiarized.

In response Rowling stated, "The fact is I had never heard of the author or the book before the first accusation by those connected to the author's estate in 2004; I have certainly never read the book."

Reality check.

The estate of Adrian Jacobs is simply looking for a simple way to make some easy cash. They are preying on the success of the Harry Potter franchise, a series of books that stemmed from nothing but the hard work and creativity of its author.

Shame on the estate Adrian Jacobs!
